Terms of Use
These terms govern TCF TEF TIP and this website and form an agreement between you and YOUNGSIC KIM. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 and legally permitted to use the service, with a parent or guardian’s agreement where required. You may use guest/anonymous access, email/password, Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in. Some features require authentication or Premium. Protect your credentials and keep account information accurate.
Registered accounts can be deleted in Profile > Account > Delete Account; deletion is also available by email. See our Privacy Policy for what is removed and what may remain. Guest users should contact support for server-data deletion. Deleting the app or account does not cancel a subscription.
2. Practice and estimated scores
TCF TEF TIP provides French-test practice for TCF Canada and TEF Canada, tests used for Canadian immigration. Learning activities and AI Writing and Speaking feedback are for preparation. All scores, including estimated NCLC and CEFR levels, are unofficial estimates and can be incomplete or inaccurate. A task estimate is not a complete official exam result. We do not issue certificates or guarantee any exam score, admission, immigration eligibility or immigration outcome. The app does not provide immigration or legal advice.
TCF TEF TIP is an independent preparation app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by France Éducation international, CCI Paris Île-de-France (Le français des affaires), or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). TCF is a trademark of France Éducation international. TEF and TEF Canada are trademarks of CCI Paris Île-de-France (Le français des affaires).
3. Licence and your submissions
We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for lawful personal study. App software, content, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You retain rights in your submissions and authorise us and our providers to process them to deliver the service, AI feedback and saved history as described in the Privacy Policy. Submit only content you may lawfully use and avoid sensitive personal data or confidential information.
Do not redistribute or resell our content without permission, scrape the service, bypass payments or scoring limits, interfere with security, submit unlawful or infringing material, or reverse engineer except where law permits.
4. Premium, billing and renewals
App Store and Google Play subscriptions offer 1, 3, 6 or 12-month periods (products tcf_premium_1m, tcf_premium_3m, tcf_premium_6m and tcf_premium_12m), subject to store availability. The purchase screen shows the current price, period, features and any trial before confirmation. Purchases are verified server-side. Premium removes ads; AI usage limits may apply.
Apple or Google handles in-app billing under its terms. Where web checkout is offered, Stripe handles recurring payment for the plan shown at checkout. We receive verification, subscription and entitlement information rather than your full card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the applicable deadline. For Apple, turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If a store free trial is offered, cancel by the displayed deadline to avoid conversion to paid billing. A free AI practice trial is separate from a store subscription trial. Prices, eligibility, renewal notices and changes follow checkout disclosures, provider rules and applicable law.
5. Manage, restore or cancel a subscription
For Apple purchases, use Settings > your name > Subscriptions > TCF TEF TIP; see Apple’s cancellation instructions. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; see Google Play’s cancellation instructions.
For a Stripe web purchase, use the billing/customer portal provided by the web service where available, or email support for help managing or cancelling it. Apple and Google cannot manage Stripe subscriptions. Cancelling normally leaves access until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling or deleting an account does not stop billing.
To restore a store purchase, use Restore on the app’s subscription screen with the original Apple or Google store account and the app account linked to the purchase, if applicable. Do not buy again solely to restore access. Contact support if an entitlement is missing.
Store refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies and applicable consumer law; contact us about Stripe web payments. Cancellation alone does not request a refund. Your mandatory consumer and refund rights are unaffected.
6. Privacy, ads and notifications
The Privacy Policy describes cloud data, Gemini scoring, Analytics, Crashlytics, FCM and advertising. Free users may see AdMob ads subject to applicable consent and tracking permissions; Premium users do not see ads. Manage microphone, tracking and notification permissions in device settings.
7. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide useful, accurate study material but offer the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change and availability depends on maintenance, connectivity and third-party services. We may restrict access for abuse, security risks or breach of these terms.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of the service or reliance on inaccurate practice feedback. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Applicable refund rights continue to apply if access ends.
8. Content reports and Apple licence
Report content errors or suspected copyright infringement to kimloydmail@gmail.com, identifying the task or material and the issue. For copyright reports, include your contact details, the work and disputed material, your authority to act, and an accurate good-faith statement.
For iOS, the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Apple does not provide TCF TEF TIP support.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms and the effective date, provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain acceptance where required. If you disagree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription with the billing provider. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply to the extent permitted by law.
